Who You’re Helping

Supporting Your Community

Community Gathering with High Point Mosque

Proceeds from Loop the ‘Lupe (and donations, if you’re running or not!) go to a great, local cause: supporting the social outreach work that goes on every day at Walmesley Center, one of West Seattle’s most popular facilities since it opened in 2012. Who are you helping? These are the people coming through our doors:

  • More than 24,000 kids/family members who have participated in safe, structured community athletic programs
  • More than 10,000 people in need who have visited for the Center’s free Community Meal program
  • More than 1,000 people who have taken part in blood drives, flu shot clinics, and presentations on social justice issues.
  • Thousands of kids and families who have enjoyed the Walmesley Center for Vacation Bible Camps, weddings, cultural events, and more!

The amount of money we’re raising with Loop the Lupe is helping people of all ages, of all religious (or non-religious) backgrounds, and of all socio-economic levels. We know it’s not just what you give–it’s where you give. Help us support a cause that’s directly focused on our local West Seattle community. Thank you!
